FIELD OFFICER FOR SANLIURFA SIVAS – ERZINCAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - MONITORING AND EVALUATION CONSULTANT

FIELD OFFICER FOR SANLIURFA (REF: FO-SANLIURFA)       United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) seeks candidates for the following position in the “Small and Medium Enterprise Development in the GAP region (GIDEM)” project of the European Commission and GAP Regional Development Administration. The project supports 4 Entrepreneur Support Centres in Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Mardin and Adiyaman and provides business development and investment promotion services to micro, small and medium scale enterprises. Field Officer for Sanliurfa will be responsible for provision of information to SME’s; assist in formulation of internationalization, clustering and investment promotion strategies and preparation of various reports. The Monitoring and Evaluation consultant will be primarily responsible for setting up and managing a simple monitoring system for project activities and preparing documentation that will be used in project evaluation. The M&E consultant will work closely with the SVDC (Senior Village Development Coordinator) and VDCs (Village Development Coordinator), as well as the SBCA (Small Business and Cooperatives Adviser) with respect to impact monitoring and evaluation. The incumbent will report to the Project Manager or in that person’s absence to the Finance and Administration Manager. The main required qualifications for the position are as follows: Post graduate education in economy, finance, business management Proven experience in project development and management, project evaluation and control processes. Minimum of 5 years experience of work in rural development and background of experience with the participatory approach in rural development Good speaking and writing ability in English and Turkish.
